Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation is the nation’s first community development corporation, founded as a bi-partisan effort to help catalyze economic, cultural, and educational opportunity in Central Brooklyn. Following its 50th anniversary, Restoration finalized a strategic plan aimed at closing the racial wealth gap and kicked off a community planning process to re-envision its long-time home.
Totem is working on Restoration’s behalf as an owner’s representative to guide the campus planning process with a team of advisors that will help generate long-term sustainability for Restoration and its programs and create a community asset for the future.
