FANTÁSTICA was engaged by the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership to lead a community planning project to transform a 15,000-square-foot underutilized lot along a busy thoroughfare into a public plaza. Working with students from George Westinghouse High School, FANTÁSTICA created a design and landscape architecture plan for the space and oversaw fabrication and installation of improvements including a 50-foot green wall, new seating fabricated from salvaged materials, public art, and decorative lighting.
